Martyn is an experienced community campaigner, was born in Falkirk and has strong family connections in Grangemouth and Bo'ness.

Having served as a local councillor for 16 years, Martyn was elected to serve as MP for the Linlithgow and East Falkirk Constituency at the General Election held on 7th May 2015. Martyn has been re-selected by the SNP to contest the 2017 snap election.

Martyn is trusted across the communities he works in to deliver for local people and is recognised as a strong voice for the people he represents.
