Hello, my name is Mark Hollinrake, and I am standing to be your local councillor for Kingsway ward. I am a father of 4 and grandparent of 6, and lived on Turf Hill for 32 years, so I know about the various problems that need tackling in the ward and the Borough of Rochdale.

I am a proud Eco Socialist, and ex Unite and PCS shop steward and I believe that the Green Party can bring Real hope and Real Positive Change in Kingsway and the Borough of Rochdale.

If elected, I will focus on:

– Protecting and improving our local green spaces and environment.

– Standing up for safer, cleaner streets and stronger local services.

– Making sure ordinary people in Kingsway have a real say in the decisions that affect their lives.

I believe in an open, accessible Council and will hold regular open surgeries throughout the ward to listen to the views and problems of residents.
