Statement to voters

Phil has lived in the Haydons Road area since 2011 and works for an international law firm.

Full statement

He’s been involved with the Liberal Democrats for a number of years and has been fighting for step free access in the Wimbledon area from Haydons road to Motspur Park train station.

From his experience of speaking to local residents he knows that Merton Council can be much better at communicating and consulting on services and decision which impact them. The pandemic, and technology, has improved support and communication amongst neighbours, but has also highlighted the lack of information from the Council on a variety of issues.

In his spare time Phil enjoys cycling, cooking and watching sport. In the summer can be found playing cricket at various Merton Council cricket grounds.

This statement was added by Philip Ling, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
