If anyone has any questions for me or would like to meet up to discuss local issues, please comment below or send me a private message.

Listening to people is key, and I'll do my best to get the people of Pelsall what they need and want. These are the things I'm passionate about when it comes to local government, and some of the things I'll be fighting for as your local Councillor:

● Put people first, more inclusive public consultations ensuring Pelsall residents have more power in decision-making.

● Protect our green belt from private developers who are backed by the Conservative council in Walsall. New housing should be built on brownfield sites and existing empty buildings re-purposed for housing where appropriate.

● Improve our parks and green spaces, so we can continue to enjoy them, feeling safe and secure, reducing criminal activity and anti-social behaviour, and upgrading play equipment and facilities.

● Better policing in our Borough with increased visibility of officers on the street and strengthening neighbourhood watch schemes to reduce crime such as vandalism, anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping.

● Public investment in infrastructure such as waterways, transport, health, trade, leisure and tourism to ensure Pelsall and the wider Walsall borough is thriving.

● Protect local budgets, and push for increased funding for our local services.

● Scrap expensive vanity projects that do not serve the residents of Pelsall and the wider Walsall borough, and better spend those funds in our local communities.

● Fight against council tax rises. In a cost of living crisis we need people to have more in their pockets, not less.

We've had 14 years of Conservative governments in Westminster cutting budgets across the board. You can't run a country on the cheap and expect good results. Imagine cutting your household budget year on year, which many of us already are, you'd run out of food, you wouldn't afford to heat your home, you'd be behind on your rent/mortgage, you'd have to trade in your car for a bus pass and eventually that would have to go, too.

At the last general election 3 of the main parties, Labour, Conservative and Reform all pledged huge budget cuts, with Reform UK pledging a whopping £90 billion worth of cuts to public services.

You get what you pay for in society and sadly we've already cut public services to the bone and it's showing. More crime, services deteriorating and in some cases stopped, and we simply can't go on like this.

We can't afford more cuts, we need public investment, to invest in public services, in people and in our local communities. We've done it before and we can do it again. The line "there is no money left" is a myth. There's more than enough money, we just don't have the right people in power.

That's why you should vote Green in the Pelsall byelection, postal voting opens soon and polling stations will be open on Thursday 11th September 2025.

It's time we had people in government, local and national, who will unapologetically commit to increase public spending, and make sure that the money is spent on improving our local communities.
