Statement to voters

It's a huge honour to be the Member of Parliament for Coventry South.

Full statement

Since I was elected in December 2019, I have been working non-stop for Coventry South: Supporting 10,000s of local people with casework, volunteering with Coventry charities, and winning campaigns like getting free parking reinstated for local NHS staff.

I have put my principles into practice: From raising £12,000 for Coventry Foodbank, to rejecting the £2,200 MPs' pay rise and donating it to local charities instead.

In Parliament, I hold the Conservative government to account, championing calls for proper pay rises for workers, cuts to energy bills, and fair taxes on the super-rich.
