Statement to voters

Born and raised in the West Midlands, I read Law and French at Aberystwyth University, completed the Legal Practice Course in Bristol, before coming home to begin my career as a lawyer.

Full statement

I was raised in a single parent family, and watched my Mum balance numerous jobs, whilst bringing up two children on her own. I know first-hand how hard it is to make ends meet, and my own experiences growing up pushed me into politics, determined to ensure that everyone, no matter what their background can achieve their fullest potential.

The Labour fiefdom in Sandwell has sold out the communities of Wednesbury, Tipton, Oldbury and Tividale for far too long, overlooking investment and ignoring residents. I am determined to change this by fighting for more investment, opposing reckless developments, securing more jobs and sorting out our traffic problems. Together I know we can achieve the best for our community.
