That’s nearly five years - and it is high time we had an election - which will now happen on the 7th May this year. It’s been great meeting so many of you over the last few years and getting things done for our communities.
I have worked hard in opposition since 2021 to:

• Improve the pitiful condition of the roads and footways in this area. The Green Group aim to bring road repairs back under council control.
• Respect and care for vulnerable people. I campaigned to save Hookstead learning disability daycare from closing – and support On My Side in Forest Row.
• Protect nature. I inspired the whole Council to vote for improving measures to regenerate, nurture and protect nature in the planning and infrastructure Bill.
  My background is working in International Development, working for government for many years and running my own business.
  I have five years’ experience as a County Councillor and have served on Audit Committee, Pension Committee and the Corporate Parenting Panel.
  I love working in these vibrant and caring communities, I prioritise residents’ wellbeing and the environment - and I am working with local groups to build resilience, food security and to prepare for an uncertain future.
