It has been my great privilege to serve you as your councillor for Byfleet and West Byfleet over the last three years.

I have a proud record of action on issues that matter to residents. I voted to protect our green belt and was the only Byfleet and West Byfleet councillor to vote against the horrific 10% council tax increase.

There is more to be done. We are threatened with 461 extra homes and 15 traveller pitches at West Hall and further council tax rises. These local elections are your opportunity to send a message to Woking Council.

I am the only candidate to make a cast-iron guarantee that, if re-elected, I will fight to:

1. Say NO to the proposals at the West Hall site and protect our green spaces, fighting tooth and nail to stop this illogical development.

2. Say NO to further 10% Council Tax rises. I will always fight for local residents - especially the most vulnerable. I was the only Byfleet and West Byfleet Councillor to vote against the 10% rise.

3. Provide a strong local voice that will deliver for our community, fight for needed investment and be the local champion that Byfleet and West Byfleet deserves.

Together, we've continued our fight to save our green spaces from developments, we've secured funding for leisure improvements, tackled anti-social behaviour, delivered and fundraised for our community.

To me, local elections are about local people having a say, ensuring that we have a hard-working community champion that will deliver for our amazing part of the world.
