Statement to voters

If re-elected as your MP, I will fight for the change that Vauxhall and Camberwell Green needs.

Full statement

That means strong local services, thriving high streets, quality housing that is genuinely affordable for local people, stronger rights for renters, robust action on the climate emergency and a new deal for working people to ensure everyone enjoys the rights they deserve. I will fight for the change people in our area need; safer streets, action on the climate emergency and quality affordable housing. I'm a proud South Londoner; I have lived in the area all my life and I was raised on a council estate in Brixton. I first stood for political office because I was sick of seeing life-changing decisions being made to my community and not by them. As the MP for Vauxhall since 2019 and the Assembly Member for Lambeth and Southwark prior to that, I will continue to make your voice heard in Parliament.
