Statement to voters
I’ve lived locally all my life, having been born in Cosby and a Whetstone resident since 1997.
Full statement
I previously stood as the Green Party candidate here in 2021, and I’m proud to be standing again to offer a strong, independent voice for our communities.
Our area deserves better than traffic congestion, unreliable public transport, and streets that don’t feel safe for walking and cycling. I’ve spent years campaigning for realistic alternatives, including better buses, safer active travel routes, and planning that puts people first. The best way to reduce congestion is to give people real, affordable choices.
I also believe local government should be transparent and accountable. Residents should understand what decisions are being made and have a genuine say in shaping them.
Alongside my campaigning, I bring professional experience as a solution architect, delivering complex transformation projects. I will use those skills to help the council make better, more informed decisions for the future.
If elected, I will work hard for you, your family, and our community.
