Statement to voters
Laura grew up in Kingsthorpe, living in Obelisk Rise throughout her childhood and attending Sunnyside Lower School.
Full statement
She has strong links to the area with almost all of her family still living in the Kingsthorpe area. She is married with three sons and currently works for a national charity based in Northampton.
She has been a councillor for the last 10 years and active in local politics for more than twenty years giving her lots of experience in representing local people and campaigning on issues that matter.
In her spare time, she is a qualified C’ Award netball umpire, coaches a U9 youth football team and has completed six marathons with fundraising for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
Laura has extensive local links to the area making her very familiar with local issues. She is looking forward to working with Kingsthorpe Parish Council and the local community on the things that matter in Kingsthorpe.
