My career as a science teacher, with experiences at St. Hild's, Manor Academy, Dyke House Academy, and presently Hartlepool Sixth Form, has fuelled my passion for environmental sustainability and motivated me to install a deep-seated respect for our planet in future generations.

As the Chair of Shincliffe Parish Council, I've led efforts to boost community life and protect our invaluable green spaces. My commitment to social equity shines through my work as a charity trustee, where I champion the cause of the most vulnerable in our community. I am devoted to the stewardship of village greens to enhance biodiversity and implement measures to shield them from urban encroachments. Additionally, I've spearheaded various social initiatives, drawing inspiration from the residents, to strengthen community ties and celebrate our collective spirit.

Given the chance, I am eager to apply my experience and innovative thinking to confront the challenges and seize the opportunities within the Rural West Ward. I dream of a community marked by environmental stewardship, fairness, and a vibrant communal spirit.
