I've lived near Woodley for over 20 years.

I worked as an accountant and for local charities, before I recently retired. Now I volunteer on the till of the Oxfam bookshop in Woodley on Saturday mornings, am a churchwarden at Earley St Peter's and have been a member of Earley Town Council for the last 3 years.
I'm interested in the environment, transport, fair trade, and the eradication of poverty locally, nationally and around the world. I joined the Liberal Democrats because I feel the two main parties are out of touch with local issues and don't care about local people and their concerns. I also realised that just voting in elections didn't change much so I decided to get involved in local politics and try to make a difference.
