Statement to voters
Home is where the heart is and Heage and Ambergate ward has been my home and heart for forty years now. Over the years, I have been involved with many community groups and together with my neighbours fought to protect our countryside. It would therefore be my privilege to now serve my community as a Labour councillor. My experiences as a parent and teacher meant learning to listen carefully, examine evidence and make decisions thoughtfully and equitably. With the Labour Party we all work together to find solutions to promote a kinder, greener, fairer place to live in.
