Four years ago, I was elected as a councillor in my then home of Streatham. I am now stepping down there but the experience leaves me well placed to stand up for residents here in Hastings at the Town Hall, ensuring public services are well delivered and our environment is looked after.

Based in Hastings Old Town, I am keen to contribute to the local community, bringing my energy and knowledge to the table to support local people, and continue campaigning on the issues that matter most, whether that is access to services, transparency in decision-making, or protecting those who need a voice.

Throughout my time in public life, I have been driven by a clear set of values: fairness, accountability, and standing up for those who are too often overlooked. That same commitment continues to guide my work today.

I am also currently Chair of Liberal Democrat Women nationally where I work to support, empower and amplify women across the party, and beyond to ensure that equality and representation remain central to our political agenda.

Bringing about policy change for women’s issues and concerns will be at the forefront of what I do for our community here in Hastings too.
