Statement to voters
Councillor Sam Dalton has been a councillor for London Bridge and West Bermondsey since 2022.

He has led big improvements in the ward over that time, including on housing, such as securing new council homes, a pioneering affordable, key worker housing development, and launching a major investigation on behalf of residents on a big estate, into major works issues.
Cllr Dalton has also led major security improvements across estates in the ward, funded the upgrade of Alfred Salter playground, Downside Fisher Youth Centre, and Magdalen Community Hall, and championed Southwark's "Streets for People" strategy by making walking and cycling easier.
He brought a motion to Southwark Council calling for voting rights to be extended for migrants, which received unanimous support, and has led the development of Southwark's first ever Older People's Housing Strategy as Deputy Cabinet Member for Supported Housing.
In his day job, Sam works on policy and campaigns for a homelessness charity.
