Philip Thomas moved to Exeter five years ago and has lived in Priory Ward for four of those years. He works as a physicist at the University of Exeter and volunteers at his local church.

Philip is a strong supporter of transparent, collaborative decision making in local government. If elected councillor, one of his priorities will be to work hard to improve the Council's transparency and accountability. He has spoken to other Priory Ward residents who feel taken for granted by the Labour Council, for example regarding the handling of the development of Edwards Court.
