I am an engineer by trade and moved to North Wales in 2001 to work for Hotpoint in Bodelwyddan. I had no interest in politics until Brexit, which made me realise what terrible information the public have to make important decisions that will affect their lives for generations. I joined the Green Party because they were one of only 2 main parties to pledge to tell the truth in political messaging and this is something that I passionately believe in. The Green Party persuaded me to stand in the local elections and by chance I was elected to represent St Asaph East at Denbighshire County Council which has been an amazing, life changing experience to engage with local politics and communities through the lens of an engineer.
