I've lived in Swansea for most of my life, attending Glyncollen Primary, Morriston Comp and Gower College Swansea.

I then went on to study at Southampton, followed by Swansea University. I lived in the Marina for a few years, before moving to Warwick to work for Warwickshire County Council. After having children, I decided that Swansea was the best place to raise my small sons and returned home.

Those small sons are now teenagers and they have both just left Bishop Gore, where I am also a parent governor, and vice chair of the Personnel Sub Committee.

Professionally, I am a HR Consultant, running a small consultancy called Swansea Bay HR. I am also a lecturer at UWTSD, where I teach the professional qualification in HR, as well as teaching HR and various other business related courses. Prior to these roles, I have worked in the public sector, BUPA and Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water before starting my own business.

In terms of my involvement in Swansea West CLP, I am currently job-sharing the role of Vice Chair and I am a regular participant in our Saturday morning campaign sessions. I previously stood for election in local elections, and was a councillor in Warwick before moving back to Swansea. I was also secretary of the branch in Warwick, where I was also a committee member at the local Children's Centre and football club.
