Statement to voters

I’m standing in this election because I love Tynemouth and Marden, I live here, and I want to stand up for the area I call home.

Full statement

Like many residents, I feel our community is being let down. People are paying more in council tax, but too often feel they are getting less in return. Roads and pavements need attention, local services need to improve, and residents deserve to feel properly listened to.

If elected, I will work hard all year round to be a strong local voice for our area — focused on the issues that matter most to residents, including road safety, protecting Tynemouth’s character and heritage, keeping our area clean and cared for, and making sure local taxpayers get value for money.

This election is about who will best stand up for Tynemouth and Marden. I will always put residents first, speak up for our community, and challenge decisions that do not reflect local priorities.

I would be honoured to have your support.
